About Nine Band Pool Fence 

Nine Band Pool Fence is a pool fencing company serving the Austin area. Our mission is to help families make their pools safer for children and dogs. 

We partner with Pool Guard of Texas who provides high quality, USA manufactured fencing.

We are a small, local, mom-owned business and members of the International Association for Child Safety (IAFCS). We take pride in using the highest-quality products and safest installation practices.

What You’ll Do 

• Install pool fence around client’s pools. This process includes using a core drill and working outside at all times of year, including in the summer. 

• Communicate professionally with clients about installation options or challenges that arise on the job.

• Prepare and organize inventory for upcoming jobs, including cutting, drilling, painting and finishing work.

• Maintain clean and careful work practices on clients’ properties.

Requirements  

• Willingness to work outside in winter and summer conditions. 

• Experience working with tools.

• Construction, remodeling, plumbing, or other related experience helpful. 

• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout our Austin-area service region (e.g., Lakeway, Georgetown, Bastrop, Kyle).

• Ability to perform detailed hands-on work, including drilling using a core drill, cutting, and painting/finishing.

• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools, including drilling using a core drill, cutting, measuring, and light finishing work.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach in order to install fence in many yard configurations. 

• Must successfully pass background and reference checks consistent with work in client homes.
